Google announces another API for Cloud Healthcare

Google has announced that it’ll be moving the company’s Cloud healthcare API into general availability. The API is the result of an ongoing partnership between Google and Mayo Clinic and serves to supply scalable access to unified healthcare data.

In addition to the API, Google is additionally providing myriad industry-specific solutions aimed toward assisting companies in battling COVID-19. These solutions include virtual care and telehealth services, high-demand public health datasets, and Google Cloud research credits. All of those offerings are meant to supply broad support for the healthcare industry, with the announcement describing the impact of the API on the industry:
